Movistar Yamaha presented their 2016 MotoGP World Championship bike in Barcelona on Monday.

Although the arrival of Michelin might shake up the order, the Italian-based team will be hoping that either defending champion Jorge Lorenzo or nine-times World Champion Valentino Rossi will be able to steer the new M1 machine to glory again.

Rossi, who missed the opportunity to claim a famous tenth world title by just five points, asked Yamaha to improve its top speed and pressed for his team to quickly adapt to the new control electronic software.

Pre-season testing will begin at the Sepang International Circuit on February 1.
