UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has confirmed the news.
One person is still missing.
The vessel sent a distress signal from a position eight miles off the coast of Tofino at 5pm local time.

A community based on environmental tourism
Tofino is a community of around 2,000 people on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
It is a popular destination for whale watchers and surfers.
The coastguard has confirmed that 21 survivors have been found so far. The search is continuing.
