Three Turkish soldiers arrested after footage emerges of them beating Syrian refugees near the border
Three Turkish soldiers have been arrested after footage emerged of them abusing four Syrian teenagers attempting to smuggle themselves across the border.
The Turkish military has confirmed that an investigation into the incident, which happened on July 28, has been launched and that the actions of the soldiers were “in no way acceptable”.
The video shows the refugees being repeatedly hit by the soldiers while they are forced to pick up cigarette butts.
