One Briton is among at least three killed in a Taliban suicide bomb attack on a EUPOL vehicle in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
The latest in a wave of attacks in Afghanistan has targeted the European Union.
Extremist group the Taliban has claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb attack on a European Union Police Mission (EUPOL) vehicle in the capital Kabul.
At least three people have died, officials say, including one British national.
A EUPOL spokeswoman said all personnel were safe. The Briton killed was travelling in the vehicle, but not a staff member.
Two Afghan civilian bystanders also died.
At least 18 people were injured in the assault, which took place near the main airport. Authorities say the EUPOL vehicle was rammed by a Toyota Corolla, on the road to a nearby NATO base.
EUPOL officials are in the country to advise Afghan law enforcement officials.
