German Chancellor Angela Merkel was left with what at first glance appeared to be a Hitler moustache, after a horrible gaffe during her visit to Israel.
The unfortunate picture shows the shadow of Benjamin Netanyahu’s finger above her top lip, evoking memories of Germany’s dictator.

The picture was taken by Marc Israel Sellem, chief photographer at the Jerusalem Post. The newspaper later claimed on its Facebook page the image had become an “internet sensation”.
It was captured during a press conference between Netanyahu and Merkel, who is on a two-day visit to Israel.
There were suggestions on Twitter that the image had been altered in Photoshop. But this was refuted by Ben Hartman, a reporter at the Jerusalem Post, who claimed to know the photographer.
