After two days that mainly centred around speculation concerning Brexit, the EU summit concluded with little progress made

Day one of the European Commission summit was packed full of Brexit talk, which concluded in claims that UK Prime Minister Theresa May has hinted at a longer transition period, according to EU sources.

EU leaders on Thursday shifted focus to the topics of migration and internal security.

The issue of cybersecurity also came up in the conclusions presented by the council as the summit drew to a close.

Leaders went home with after two with little progress made on Brexit negotiations.
