2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The country celebrated the status that promotes trust, peace and friendship by organizing an international conference.
It brought together heads of state and government, prime ministers, representatives of international organizations, and diplomatic delegations from various regions of the world.
The International Conference on Peace and Trust mobilized efforts for sustainable peace, building on Turkmenistan's long-standing diplomatic identity as a neutral convening power in Central Asia.
The country’s permanent neutrality was formally recognized by a United Nations General Assembly resolution on December 12, 1995.
