The allegations come ahead of a game between the pair that will decide who goes to Russia next summer.
Honduras has accused World Cup rivals Australia of spying on its training and tactics using a drone.
The pair face each other in the second leg of their play-off match, the winner of which will qualify for next year’s football extravaganza in Russia.
They played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday in northern Honduras, with the return in Sydney on Wednesday.
Fenafuth, the football federation in Honduras, posted a video on Twitter of a drone in the sky above the team training.
It said: “Australia is spying on the official training of Honduras with a drone, which puts the team ill at ease, as well as the Honduran delegation.”
The manager, Colombian Jorge Luis Pinto, is said to be unhappy that Australia has allegedly been able to view his team’s tactics ahead of the crucial match.
