Emmanuel Macron seemed to get it, but did Donald Trump?
This is the moment military musicians let their normally solemn guard down to play tracks by a popular French duo.
Their tempo change seemingly struck a chord with French president Emmanuel Macron, in contrast to his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump.
They played music by electronic duo Daft Punk, including 2013 hit Get Lucky.
It came at the end of traditional military fanfare to mark Bastille Day and to honour the victims of the Nice terrorism attack, which happened a year ago today.
The military parades, under the eye of Trump, are also marking 100 years since the entrance of the U.S. into the First World War.
