European Rally Championship driver Tomasz Kasperczyk was involved in a dramatic near-miss accident when his car skidded off the road and became wedged against a guard rail on top of a cliff.
The incident occurred during the Rally Islas Canarias on Friday, May 5 and saw the driver lose control of his vehicle on a sharp bend.
Kasperczyk leapt from the passenger seat of the car, which was left teetering above a sheer drop, and signalled he was uninjured by holding up a sign with ‘OK’ printed on it.
