Hundreds of students have protested at Oklahoma University after a video showing fraternity members singing a racist chant was posted online.
The frat members were on a date event when the shot was recorded. The clip shows them using the N word and make a reference to lynching.
The clip was published on the 50th anniversary of the march on Selma in remembrance of the bloody confrontation between police and protesters demanding the right for black people to vote.
The chant in the video goes:
There will never be a n****r in SAE
There will never be a n****r in SAE
You can hang ‘em from a tree
But they’ll never sign with me
There will never be a n****r in SAE
The Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) chapter was immediately closed and its president said all those involved would be expelled.
The head of the university, David Boren, also asked all members of the chapter to pack their bags, leave their on-campus house and find new places to live.

Although Boren said those involved would be expelled, he made no mention of exclusions.
